If you want to try the patches, go to lakesidecollection. Search for patches. You get a 2 weeks supply for about $15.00. I'm not sure if they work, I have tried Aqua Chi at the local health store. After 30 minutes, it was nasty. I did feel better for about 3 or 4 days. I may go back and try it again.

Thanks Ws. I did post a link that sells them at $20. for a month's worth. I seriously think it has some merit, I mean the idea of this thing. There is such a thing as a drawing slave used for boils that I believe works on the same premise. I remember having a boil once when I was a kid and my Mum used it on me. We were able to pull out the core after the salve had been on it for a day or two. Then it immediately improved. I'll never forget that. It was like a long, beaded string she pulled out with tweezers. I watched the boil go down immediately. It must coil around inside it. Boils are Nasty things.

I'm going this weekend to try the Aqua Chi again. If it works, I'll let you know.

See, the reason I want to give this a fair shot IS.................. I have skin problems. Someone explained to me that your skin is by some people thought of as a third kidney. If you are loaded with toxins your regular 2 kidneys can't get rid of all it will show up on your skin. I have this horrible cystic acne and cysts. I tried Uva Ursi and it did nothing. I drink EXTRA water everyday and TRY to eat only natural foods and so far it's not helping the condition. IF this is a possible improvement for my condition, I will give it a try.

Yes, I will take before and after pictures and will post them after. I am more than happy to share. I have read some of the board and it is amazing how much knowledge the board has on FMS. I also can't believe no one is willing to give the patches or alternate medicine. It may or may not help. But it never hurts to try. The only thing you loose is a little bit of money. Most of us waste more than the $20 for a month supply.

Exclamation I would read that link

Curious put up carefully....

The experiment showed that heavy metals are present in
the patches and "go someplace" after use.... and that someplace is into YOU most likely.

So not only are these bunkum.... they might even poison you!

Typically drugs cross into the body thru the skin, when a patch or covering is in place. This is how patches with nicotine, pain relievers work.
Also some dermatologists have people put saran wrap over some medicated ointments to DRIVE the active ingredients INTO the skin and body.

These patches already contain heavy metals, and by occluding the skin those may enter YOU --an unwelcome result!

What does it hurt to try though? We all have to live with this and the fact there is no cure--just pain management. I don't think it hurts to try it. I understand what the article said. However, it doesn't hurt to try different things, it may help. If not, then it can't make it worse.

I do have a few fillings yet so Maybe these will help:

http://www.whale.to/v/cassel.html

Plus I smoked for a long time and did eat quite a bit of fish in my life, not so much now. And since the world uses the oceans and lakes as dumping ground/toilets I can see where all this is coming from and why people have so many heath problems. I don't take very many drugs, not even prescription drugs now, maybe earlier in my life when I was unaware but not so much now.

I had a friend, he passed away at 56, but he was always at the doctor and took whatever they told him to take. His kidneys were shot by the time he was 50 and was on dialysis for the last 8 years of his life. All these drugs people take thinking they will help just burn up your organs. It's really such a shame. Like lambs to the slaughter. Just my opinion.

I try to stay away from doctors as much as possible. Usually whatever is wrong gets better in time. I do go IF I am bleeding or have an infection though or a broken bone but I have never actually been helped with the broken bones. When I broke my arm in 2 places, I didn't have insurance and couldn't afford treatment but eventually that healed, I just had to fashion a sling and take it easy for a few months but that did heal too. That was a rough few months, I'll tell ya since I live alone and had no help. I cried alot.

When I fell in the bathtub and cracked my skull and face, THAT was also rough. I broke bones in my middle ear and was SO off balance for such a long time and my face is still numb from that and that was in 89.

When I got Shingles, I got NO medication for the pain. Doctor at ER said, "Oh, just take Tylenol, you'll be alright." WRONG!!!! I did get some oxycodone from a sympathetic friend who KNEW I was in agony and couldn't sleep but that is last prescription drug I have taken and that was in 96.

So, my experiences with doctors have not been very positive. I am FOR alternative medicine.

See, I am willing to give it a try. Since the skin absorbs but it also excretes. These heavy metals MAY be drawn OUT of you.

How many drugs do people take prescribed by doctors that later are found harmful and are pulled off the market? How many lawsuits, I mean Class Action lawsuits do you see advertized of the telly?? They say: " If you took So and so Drug and have experienced Blah, Blah Blah, you May be entitled to money damages."
