Well, I ordered them. They should be here today or early next week. I do plan on doing a little TEST.

I will take pics as I go along. Now if they actually do draw heavy metals OUT of your body then let's just see what happens if I put one on a heating pad. I want to see if these things turn colour just because of the heat from your body. The colour change is a chemical reaction of some kind and if it's ONLY from heat, well, there ya go. We'll see. I am hoping for a favourable outcome though.

Well, it's been a month since I made my online order. They NEVER arrived and I was charged for them on my credit card. I did TRY to contact the site but it is no longer there. I spoke to my credit card company and they removed the charge and are going to investigate.

In the meantime, I found this. Very interesting but still hasn't put me OFF the idea of trying them. I think I will just go to my local Walgreens and buy them. Here IS an actual test someone did. Good site too:

Default Hoax

They are a hoax plain and simple. If you want to use them fine. Go for it. I'm not wasting my money products that play to peoples desperation.

At this point their is no cure for chronic pain. period.

I am not desperate, just curious. And as far as chronic pain goes, I've had my share over the years and usually a change in nutrition and lifestyle activities did way MORE to alleviate the problem than drugs did. I have gone both routes for the same problems.

I think our environment is to blame for many of people's ailments and just masking the pain with drugs doesn't really help in the longrun. I prefer getting to the Cause of the pain rather than masking it. Pain is just our body telling us something is wrong, chronic or acute.

BUT these detox pads really do have me curious. I still haven't bought any though. I keep forgetting but eventually when all the planets allign, I will.

Wiix...glad you answered. I thought LSC was a little out of line with the wording. I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't knock someone else for trying something. Half of the battle we face is the mental battle dealing with the ups and downs of the pain and just trying to deal and accept.

We all deal with our own problems they way that is best for us. Everyone has that right and shouldn't be critisized for taking a different path.

Smile Also curious about detoxing

Hi,
Thanks for bring up detoxing.
I have also seen them and wondered if they were for real.
I know that when I drink herbal detox tea it really helps me.
Do they have herbal patches for detoxing? That seems safer to me.
I would be interested in looking into any natural way to detox as it does seem to help with the stiffness and cramps.
Does anyone know what the black tarry med that is used to draw out a boil is called? My hubby's mom used to have some but we can't find it or remember what it is called. It sure worked for boils maybe it would work for detoxing the whole body if used on the foot all night. It would be little messy but if it works then it would be worth the mess.
I know Edgar Casey believed in using a lot of poultices (sp?) for drawing out toxins.Have any of you heard of or tried any of them?I wanted to but the ingredients seemed hard to find, but that was 10 years ago maybe with the internet the things would be easier to find now.I will get out my Casey book tonight and see what the ingredients are for a detoxing poultice.
What are some of the things that you all use to detox with?
Denise

I think that detoxification is right on and not a hoax, though I don't know about the footpads you spoke about earlier.

There are a lot of places now that do footbaths for detox. My chiro does them, but I haven't invested in that technique. My massage therapist, whom I hold high regard for, goes to Des Moines to a therapist there who has the footbath detox. She wants me to go with her sometime to try it.

I have seen the results of one though at my chiros. A woman was having her done and didn't mind if I took a peek before and after her treatment. Holy cow, I could not believe what I saw! ICK! She did get quite sick to her stomach for a period of time but that passed.

I think that's the reason my chiro limits the time one can use them. At the place in Des Moines you can choose your time limit, but you are under the constant supervision of a technician and have to remain there for a short period of time until they know you are okay.

I see it much like when I was much younger, a vegetarian, and frequently did fasts.

Releasing toxins from your body is a good thing and you'd be amazed at the stuff that comes out of your feet in those footbaths! But I think anyone who does them should be prepared for a tummy upset when it's done.

If you do a search for detox footbaths on the internet, you'll find a lot of information.
