Default Anyone know of an excellent Fibro doc in NYC?

I have been posting on the peripheral neuropathy forum for the last year and feel I need to pursue a Fibro dx I was given by a neurologist about 2 years ago.

When I told my rheumy of the Fibro dx, he dismissed it. He claimed my sx were were caused by polymyalgia rheumatica for which he prescribed Prednisone. I took it for about 2 days and was delighted that it seemed to make me feel "normal." This feeling wore off when my sx came back with a vengeance within a few days after starting it.

So now I'd like to find a doc in NYC who would be less dismissive of the Fibro and know how to treat it.

Anyone here have any experience with a good rheumy who practices in Manhattan? TIA
