I will tell you I use the generic for neurotin. A pain management doctor
chose to have me try it for some of my symptoms when I had my neck problems, till I could have my complete procedure on the neck. Its worked miracles on my fibromyalgia which was a added bonus. I also take zanaflex which is lots of help too. Donna |
Donna,
I'm also taking the generic. Our insurance won't pay for name brands unless there are no generics for it and then we have a co pay of $22. Not bad co-pay but it sure does add up when I'm on 7 meds and 3 are non generic, plus my daughters (6 meds & 2 are non generics) and husbands meds (4 & 1 is non-generic). Oh...could be alot worse. So far I've been on the neurotin for about a 1 1/2 weeks. I am seeing a little difference...not having to take as many of my roxicodone as I usually do during the day. Only thing is it makes me sleepy about 1 to 1.5 hours after taking it. I try to keep busy in order to combat the sleepiness. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Thank you for the info. I'll keep ya'll informed. |
