Hi ((Imintz)). It's very nice to meet you. I'm so sorry you've been diagnosed with these! This chronic pain is so wearing.
I was thinking a lot about my myofascia pain most particularly Saturday night. I babysat my grandson and my daughter, after returning from a halloween party, decided to sleep with me in the guestroom. (She loves her momma. ) Anyway, she got in bed and snuggled up next to me and her elbow was resting against my upper arm. It hurt SO much! My reaction was immediate and she said, "Geez mom, I'm barely touching you!" Well, exactly. It amazes me to hurt so much from the lightest touch. The chronic pain is debilitating. But it's nice to be able to talk with people who understand! You will find that understanding alllllll over NeuroTalk. Again, nice to meet you! I hope today finds you feeling well.

Hi Lisa, my name is also Lisa. I too have been diagnosed with both CRPS II (nerve injury from ulnar nerve surgery) and fibromyalgia. I am not sure which came first. I thought for sure it was the CRPS II from the two ulnar nerve surgeries I had but then an old friend of mine (who is a neurosurgeon) said they I most likely had fibromyalgia for years and had surgery for pain that was a result of fibro and not nerve compression. It is so hard to figure all this out. I just hate both diagnosis and have struggled a lot to accept it all. How about you? What nerve injury did you sustain? When were you diagnosed?
