Hi Judy! Thanks for asking.
The acupuncture has actually increased my pain 3-fold. I can't walk or stand for very long without immense pain in my left leg and hip. Even making the bed causes me pain now. So my advice is be careful about this procedure. As for the needles hurting, believe it or not they hurt more coming out than going in. The needles are so thin that you feel the pressure of the person putting in the needle more than anything. But beyond that, I think that it is a person to person experience.
