Default Who is right!??

MPS, FMS. My doctor, in the past, has told me these are the same illness. I've always questioned that. I've had others tell me the same thing.

According to Stardynl, they are totally different - separate!

Quote:
Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) and chronic myofascial pain (CMP) are real conditions, and they are not the same.
Quote:
You need to understand both of these conditions to be able to separate the impact they are having in your life and to know how to deal with each symptom. Once you grasp the concepts behind these conditions and act on your knowledge, your health will improve and you will regain some control.

Oh yeah ((Tammi))!!

Don't ya feel like they are writing about you? So many AHA moments.

My daughter gets annoyed with me when we are driving. I ask her to turn her music down and she says I just don't like her music. Well, it hurts me darned ears! LOL

I'm seeing my doc this afternoon because it's been too long and he is questioning me needing pain medicine and wouldn't refill a prescription. So I'm goin there shortly.

I get so tired of this all over pain crap, my fascia I think is just one big hard lump, sigh.

Oh, and today I saw my chiro. (To me he's more like a holistic healing doctor.) He said next week when I go in he wants to talk to me about the success he has been having with clients with severe fibro and a supplement they have been taking that they are swearing by.

And I DO remember him talking about one of the things it does is helping with the oxygen supply? I don't know but we'll talk about it next week.

Willing to try anything here just about...but not Lyrica.

WOW!! Doody, that was an awesome site. Now, I can see that my new doc was right. He seems to be somewhat on top of this. But, I won't see him again for awhile, unfortunately. I am going to try to do some more research on this. Has anybody here ever had their ATP levels checked???
