This might be a silly question, but do any of you know of a cushioned bath mat? I have real issues standing up in the shower (it's because the tub is so hard that it really hurts my feet), so I was thinking a cushioned bath mat might fix this, but for the life of me I just can't find one... does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Maybe check with Walgreens, CVS, or a medical supply store, and see if they have one in stock or can order a cushioned bath mat for you.

I tried the pharmacies, with no luck... but I keep thinking I can't be the only one with this issue...and therefore someone will know where to get one.

I have a cushion, that is almost 2 in thick, that I bought for
gardening. It is really great in the bathtub and never really made it outside. It is similar to this one but larger: http://www.matsmatsmats.com/commerci...FQzxDAodKy2qCw This gel type might be better for the shower: http://www.shopwiki.com/_Tommyco+GEL...ucent+Kneelers

The blurb says it's useful for slippery surfaces. Besides pre-assembled mats, you can buy interlocking tiles so you can design your own mat. I have a (probably) discontinued Rubbermaid mat and I cherish it since when I tried to replace it, there was nothing comparable. I found the one I use at an old fashioned mom & pop hardware store. Good luck!! |
