Thinly sliced green tomatoes and then the same as you make an apple pie. It is good
 I thought twice before I ever made it cause I couldn't imagine it either but I'm glad that I made it.

Thank you Kitt. I must admit I felt a bit like that with tomato jam. Who would have thought that it tastes just like strawberry jam?

I don't like, actually hate, ripe tomatoes....the smell, the taste, texture..
 However, I love a good tomato sauce, as long as there are no pieces of tomatoes, in it.  Yes, I'm an oddity.
