Shocked Creepy food!

http://video.dailytelegraph.com.au/2.../Dancing-squid

One of our PN posters put this up today, and I have to say, I found it mega creepy!

It reminded me of the time we went to a Korean restaurant, and I ordered a Japanese fish dish...which came with tons of fish flakes on top. These were all waving and moving and the whole effect was that the dish was still alive.

I made a surprised comment, and everyone turned to look at us, and the manager ran over...and then we all had a good laugh!

I suspect the squid in this video had to pretty fresh to react the way it did! I have seen videos of people eating LIVE things...including octopus, and definitely that is not for ME!

Shocked

Gross! I hadn't seen this post before. I came here to post something much more beautiful. I see it's from an Aussie site too. <groan> We do eat a lot of asian recipes here though not usually something that horrid. eek

That really is taking Heston Blumenthal's scent and smell of the sea to a whole new dimension. One I don't think he'd recommend.
