We are talking about a healthy, wiggly small green worm. I understand that they like it too but....

Yes, a live worm before you cook the corn. If you don't remove that worm you would have a nice cooked worm.

My back yard was a corn field growing up.
the farmer let us pick the corn all we wanted. We just cut off any part that wasn't good. It was sweet and yummy. I can't waste either, especially in todays ecomomy. Now bugs in the flour.... I have more of a problem if that were to happen. I think we eat more bugs than we know about. ginnie |

Put the flour in the freezer when you buy it. That kills whatever.

I will remember the peppermint gum trick. Yes I had heard the larva was already in the flour. I also know that bugs are in alot of our foods. Oh well protien. Lots of countries eat bugs on a regular basis, I just don't want to know about it!!!! have a good day. ginnie
