Once my daughter got me a box of Godiva chocolates as a treat. I hid them on Bob and gave him a couple, one at a time. This is a man who eats Jelly Bellies by the handful, so I knew he wouldn't be able to savor Godiva properly.
My very favorite would be Lindt dark truffles. My everyday favorite (and I do mean every day) would be the Dove dark promises. Next would be the Herhsey's dark Bliss, and then Russell Stover darks. I do eat milk chocolate, but I always go for the dark if there's a choice. One thing non-choccies don't get is that when you need chocolate, you need CHOCOLATE, not chocolate-flavored something. Not chocolate pudding or chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream. We're talking intravenous Hershey's syrup if necessary.

Thank goodness for chocolate! It saved my life just the other day. Out of the blue, my MIL showed up at my door. Surprise! Just then, I suddenly had an emergency. I needed to get to the drugstore quick! Whew, I made it just in time! Without that Dr. Pepper & Snickers bar, I think I would have had a mental breakdown.
Thank you choccy. You're my hero. |
