I freeze them Lara.
When I buy fresh mushrooms for a recipe, I slice what's left over and freeze those. You do need to use them fairly soon or they go a bit tough. I've not had the mushrooms in any cooked dish, toughen when the dish was frozen. (eg. Stroganoff.)
