Yep,

I made it not too long ago.

The recipe calls for a container of sour cream, i small box of frozen spinach and i package of dry vegetable soup mix ( it's called Knorr) here in Canada I'm not sure what it would be where you are.

In a bowl you would combine sour cream( i usually only add about half the container, then add about half the package of the soup mix along with the spinach.

You can always adjust the amount of the sour cream or vegetable soup mix as to your taste. I find the soup mix a little tangy but that's just me.

What i have found the easiest is the put the dip into a serving dish on a round platter instead of a hollowed out loaf. The bread just gets soggy and you can't do anything with it.

So i just break up the bread into bite sized pieces and serve it along with it.

I hope this was the recipe you were talking about.

Thumbs Up

Mega thanks sounds perfect!
I never made the recipe, I had it at holiday parties.

I love dips, veggie dips, and soups. I make a lot of home made soups. Especillay from stock. Ham and pea or bean is a family favorite.

I am going to try it next get together.

I love it too! The only differnce is I add a drained can of water chestnuts (cut up) to the sour cream/soup mix. I put that in a little nut bowl and put the little bowl in the hollowed out bread "bowl" so my girlfrinds and I have more bread to rip apart and scoop up all that yummy dip

Here's a good spinach dip recipe:

1lb - sourcream

1 small can - water chestnuts - chopped up

1 cup - mayonnaise

1 package - leek soup seasoning

1 package - frozen chopped spinach
