Well you're on my hero worship list!! :D I LOVE The Kinks!!! Just LOVE them!!!!! A band that knows how to put on a live show, THAT'S a BAND!

always felt the kinks were the first punk rock band

AMEN!!!! I did my senior thesis on "The Evolution of Punk Rock". Talked about Punk to Glam to New Wave to 80's hair bands to Grunge, etc. etc. etc....... The Kinks really were the first punk band, at least that were successful so early on!!
