Dear Abby,

I have had a toothache for 2 days now. I went out on a date with this guy a few days ago and we kissed. Is a toothache contagious? Can you get a toothache from kissing?

dear moonlight

no toothaches are not contagious, although you can get a brown nose from kissing.......... perhaps a trip to the candy stote can help your toothache

dear abbey

just starting a marriage and me and my new bride are wondering how many kids we should try to have is there a safe odd number you could suggest

tkrik 02-22-2008 10:05 AM

Why an odd number? If you should choose an odd number 1 or 5 would be best. Three causes one to be the "middle" child. Additionally, 3 girls never work out. One is always left out with hurt feelings to boot. Should you choose 3 make sure at least 2 are the same sex.

Dear Abby,

My brother has been sneaking out of his bedroom everynight and returns before Mom gets up. I askedd him what he was up to and he said he was studying math with the smartest guy in school. I don't believe him, what should I do? Should I tell mom?

Dear Tattle -

From personal experience - yes you should tell - he will hate you forever but I can guarantee he's not studying math with the smartest guy in school - is he also sneaking out in the family car with the headlights turned off - that's a sure sign tnat something is amiss - you better tell - also sniff - smell something sweet - and green and smokey - TELL !!!

I am having a family dinner party. Two of my sisters have not spoken in years and both are coming to the dinner party. Do I tell each of them that the other is coming and risk neither of them coming or do I not say a word and just don't seat them next to each other?

Dear FDW,

Call it a family party, invite both, and leave it at that. Will there be a trained counselor at dinner to deal with the potatoes flying?

Good Luck dear,
Abby

Abby,

I was planning on serving spaghetti with my famous sauce. Do you think I need to revisit that idea? We just remodeled our house and I have white on white decor throughout the house. Would it be in appropriate to have an outside bbq in February?

Dear FDW,

I definately suggest you make a meal of spring peas, steamed green beans, water, bologna, bread slices, and chicken nuggets! Picnic style out doors at a park!!!

Abby
