My first car was an Austin Healy Sprite 3000 convertable. It had a lot WRONG with it but I didn't care. My Dad worked on it, the mechanical stuff and me and my best friend redid the inside. EVEN made a new top for it. She was a seamstress, well, her mother was and she could do anything. I will see if I can find a picture of one just like it. :D

My favorite car was a '73 Volkswagon bug--yellow convertible. Oh such memories.It was the first car in my name! I was married then with 3 kids, and I once had 15 cub scouts stuffed in it. When I bought it , I couldn't drive a stick shift, so I practiced in the middle of the night when there was no traffic. I drove it for about 20 years. I miss it!!
