what was the worst gift you have ever gotten (any occasion)

Wiix 07-24-2008 08:56 PM

Let's see. I was probably about 15 or 16 at the time. The guy I was going steady with was just the sweetest person in the world and GORGEOUS!! I mean classicly beautiful looking BUT he was shorter than me. His whole family was short so there was no chance he'd get any taller, he had tests. :o Anyway, he was Jewish and I am Protestant so he didn't celebrate Christmas of course so when he gave me a gift I was really shocked. I opened the gift in front of him, of course, and when I saw what it was, I was kind of horrified BUT I acted like it was really Great as not to hurt his feelings. I held it up and up against me. I really hated the thing. It was this Bright, Neon Red/Orange skirt and matching top with this big, clunky beaded ORANGE belt. I NEVER wore it. But I know it was the thought that counted.

I kind of wished I got to the grandfather question. I never knew any. :( I can't imagine what it'd be like to have a grandfather. Oh wait, maybe that was another thread. Yea, looking back here I see it was. Sorry.

Ummm, next question:

Do you ever feel left out of things? :o

houghchrst 07-27-2008 09:18 PM

yes but it is usually by choice due to my own insecurities and phobias

have you ever been to the mountains?

Wiix 07-27-2008 09:44 PM

Yes, once when I was about 10 and again when I was about 15.
