Climbing over the little fence my grandmother used to put around her tree so I could play with the manger set. Yes, I got spanked but it was totally worth it. I put that manger up at my house for the first time this year, and I caught myself yelling at my daughter for playing with it too.

Not really my fav gift, but a fav memory my sisters and I have. The first Christmas after my parents divorced Dad had to shop for my sisters and I on his own. The four of us opened large dress boxes with full outfits. Right down to earrings and hair accessories. Dad said he basically just went in to JC Penney's and pointed to mannequins and said "I'll take that." LMAO! He's also the man, that, before christmas shopping for my now step-mother asked her what she liked clothes wise. Betsy told him she really liked Liz Claiborne. So Dad and his buddy got to the mall to Macy's. He asks the sales woman where Liz Claiborne is and she points him to the right section. He looks and sees nothing, so he asks, "Well can I speak to her please?" LMAO!!! Neither him nor his buddy had a CLUE what Liz Claiborne was!
Anyone have a favorite funny holiday story to share??

I remember my Mom opening the oven to baste the turkey, and the turkey fell on the floor when she tilted the pan. The turkey slid all the way across the kitchen floor. I'll never forget it, it was a sight to see. We ate the turkey, of course. Nobody else knew it happened but my Mom and me!!
