Smile Do you have one carotid artery with a stent?

Looking for someone, anyone, who has one carotid with a stent. I was born without a carotid artery. After a life threatening car accident, I had a stent placed. Does anyone have a stent in their only carotid artery? How are you coping with stented carotid artery? I love my doctors advise. However, when I try to research someone like me, I find nothing on carotid stents. My doctors have mentioned people with one stented carotid and one healthy carotid. However, I can't find someone who has one carotid by birth, then stented later in life.

Trying to get back in the game,
