My neuro has diagnosed me with "generalized myoclonus". It's "positional"...in that my muscles that go into myoclonus...(my back...near shoulder blades., neck...lower back, abdomen.....& sometimes...calves & biceps--ONLY when I lie down! "Movement Disorder" specialists have told me---that this "Positional" part is common-tho they don't know exactly why!
I'd really like if anyone in our forum--has anything like this? (or knows anyone)- He gave me Lexapro---for depression & anxiety- but said, it's nothing serious! (I had a cervical spine MRI....and "blood test"...for thyroid...both normal) -Does this ever just "resolve"..& go away?- Hopefully--I'll get some responses! Thanks- Chris ![]() Last edited by Jerky_Chris; 02-05-2010 at 05:41 PM. Reason: Spelling correction |

Have you looked into possibility of b12 deficiency? My muscle twitching has greatly diminished. Am on a daily injection of methyl form of b12.
