need a little help here. Not sure what to do. I have been having the worst three years of my life. Told and treated and still being treated for bipolar disorder. Also started to have syncope episodes. Doctors thought at first it was the meds so they all were switched, wasnt that. Then they thought it was nuerological so we went through all of that testing. Wasnt that. Doctors were starting to look at me like I was making the up. Last thing my cardiologist did was had a loop monitor implanted in my chest to show my heart rythm. Two weeks later and three syncope episodes they read the paper work on the monitor and it showed that my heart was stopping. Had to have a pacemaker put in. The doctors all said that the syncope episodes would now go away. Two weeks after having the pacemaker put in I had a pass out episode. They admitted me back into the hospital and was given a diagnosis of neurocardiogenic syncope. That was 9 months ago. I have had in the mean time many syncope episodes and the doctors cannot help. They are sending me to Vanderbilt research center soon and we will see what they say. I am not dealing well with all of this and need to talk to someone else out there that may know what I am going through.
