I had quintuple bypass surgery thirteen days ago. I have been exhausted the last couple of day after little activity. I thought I might have over did it last Friday and am paying for it now. I find it discouraging and try to take naps. I would like to know how others are doing with their recovery.

Hi ~ I agree with Pabb! I haven't had your specific surgery, but I've had other surgeries, and believe me, after 2 weeks i STILL wasn't back to normal!!! Just like Pabb said, with all that anesthesia, it takes the wind out of your sails. Plus the blood loss and trauma to your body ~ good grief, that's enough to knock down an elephant for a month!
I don't think I felt "normal" (whatever that is) til about 6 weeks after surgery and I had the surgery when I was alot younger than I am now! (I'm 61) The last surgery I had, I was in my mid 40's. So just take it easy, take lots of liquids like Pabb said, eat healthily, and walk a bit ~ if your doc says you can. God bless and take care. Peace, Lee
