Koala, thanks for the suggestions. I am in a dilemma...I didn't mention that I am in Stage 3 Renal failure...therefore Nephologist says not to eat bananas because they cause the kidneys to work harder. But I eat them anyway! I know I am going to go one day, one way or the other, so I don't limit myself to just what I am suppose to eat or not!

I don't do heavy exercising because I had spinal fusion 3 years ago and that limits me as to what and how much I can do!

I don't see how the 'things' you mentioned could cause the hurting in only the one spot.

I have heard about the bar soap remedy and quinine water and heard pros and cons about both. The tarragon, chamomile and lavender sound like a soothing way to find some relief.

I keep thinking about when I am older and in a nursing home, what will I do in the middle of the night when I can't sleep for whatever reason. At least now, I can get up and roam around the house and get on the computer!

Thanks again for the suggestions

Default Sore Calf

I was just checked for blood clots yesterday because both of my calfs became sore out of the blue. I had no swelling redness or warmth to my legs-only the soreness-so I took an ultra sound to rule out any blood clots, (did not find any clots) but I will most definitely keep an eye on my legs here on out just to be on the safe side.
