Magnesium is great for helping to relax muscles, and thereby reduce pain. It can make a huge difference. I had low iron for years and was always being put on iron supplementation. I had a bluish tinge under my nails, and standing up often made me feel as if I'd black out. But, since I've had B12 replacement I have none of those problems. Which surprised me. Happily.

I go back to the Neurologist next week and will ask him about magnesium. He didn't feel that my B12 level was low enough to worry about. But HE isn't the one that has a horrible time each night! Having stage 3-Renal Failure, he and my Nephyologist don't want my kidneys to have to process anything they absolutely don't have to. So we'll see !!
