So where to start... About 5 years ago I ended up with torsion of my left ovary leading it be become necrotic. I was around 6 months pregnant or so at the time and took them at least a month and a half, 3 days I don't remember doped up in the hospital, and some hard work and luck on my OBGYN's side that they even figured out what the problem was.
After they took out my ovary I was fine until about a year after the pregnancy. Since I've had 3 cysts rupture on my right ovary, which is apparently just covered in the things. I haven't had a doctor recommend to take it out, and I haven't asked seeing as how I'm only 22 and REALLY don't want to part with my last ovary.... Since I'm not sure that's the real problem anyways. I still have fairly consistant ovarian pain from the cysts, however I've slowly been developing far more troublesome problems. About 2 1/2 years ago I lost about 30 lbs, after which I started developing back pain accompanied by popping/cracking sounds. I brought it up to a doctor, and they dismissed it, "Everyone pops". However over the past 2 years it's been slowly spreading from my back and shoulder area. First to my elbows, then knees, hips ankles, hands... The pain and cracking has gotten so bad that its not even limited to my joints anymore. Sometimes my shins pop, or my lower arms. I've asked probably about 10 different doctors within the past 2 1/2 years, every one has said it was nothing. Within the past year or two I've started to slowly develop what seems to be either nerve or neurological problems, I am unsure. At first my vision would get blurry when I stood up too fast, I wrote it off as anemia because I had been anemic during my pregnancy, and started taking iron supplements. After that I had what I thought was a panic attack (I had been smoking weed and though it made me trip 1-3 hits) so I ignored it. However since then I have had heart pain as well as irregular heartbeat. I had also passed out multiple times within 2 month period. At that point I was just plain stupid to not go see a doctor, but with work, and a kid I just kept putting it off. I haven't passed out in about 5-6 months now and rarely experience vertigo, however now have been experiencing numbness thoughout my whole body. Usually it only happens when I'm sleeping, although it wakes me up every hour or so. First it was only if I was laying on an arm, but it has now spread to my legs and to my back. I know this was a LOT, quite long, and a lot to take in. Thank you for your kindness and patience. |
