What level of the T spine is affected, what are your symptoms?

We do have a Thoracic Outlet Syndrome forum , and some of your symptoms might be similar to what we have.
We have some various therapies we talk about as well as the ones posted in the sticky thread above the main thread list.

Whiplash can be a factor in acquiring thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) later on...

I have been, kinda, by a back doc who said that I could have been whiplashed in the middle of my back (car accident) with nothing showing up on CT or MRI. Said that they had physical therapists specializing in just that.

Then, sent me to the practice's physiatrist to handle it. A "poke'em, pill'em, bill'em, bye" doc. Who sent me to just another of there pt's, not the back specialists, to work on my knee and shoulder injuries, nothing for the back. Kept getting told, "it'll feel better when you get moving around more." Again. (went to back dr. and then physiatrist about 8 months after accident, after getting nowhere and the same line from previous doc & pt). Gave up on them at about 11 months after the accident. Last time I saw stupid physiatrist, and tried to bring it up again, as well as knee problem that had not improved at all in 11 months, the jerk said, "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it." Buddy, I want my life back. And I see no chance of ever getting that.

Now approaching 18 months after the accident. My mid-back still kills as soon as I'm on my feet. Found a few exercises by looking for "upper back pain" , but other problems won't let me do most of them, so I don't know if they're any help. Sorry.
