Hi my name is Randy and i'm 28 years old. For the past couple years now iv'e been experiencing tightness & numbness running along the right side of my face. It basically feels like my right side has been injected with a little novacane but instead of feeling droopy its all tight . It runs parallel throughout my whole cheek area, eye/brow, side of mouth, corner of nose, and scalp, all only on the right side. Sometimes I can forget about it but sometimes it seems more pronounced . As far I can tell I have full function on my right side no signs of paralysis, Thank God. I am still extreamely concerned and worried about this condition though because it just came out of no where. At first it was excruciating pain, I talked to my general doctor about it and saw a tmj specialist and even had a CT scan of my sinus area. They couldn't find anything. I was quickly discouraged and had no insurance so for the past year or so Ive cut out all stimulants such as soda, coffee, alcohol, cigaretts and have basicly been living as healthy as possible hoping my body would cure itself. Its definatley not as bad as it was at first but I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to have to live with this forever. I have a good job and insurance now so I'd like to try and figure this out again. If anyone has suffered through this same issue iv'e been having and could provide feedback on what it could be and what measures are to be done I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Wow I have no idea what that could be. I had numbness and tingling on the left side of my face but that was along with symptoms on my left side from feet to face. I found out what it was and treated it but anyway I have no idea what yours could be.
I have heard of others around here who have had face nerve pain issues caused by teeth but other than that I am blank on this. I wish I could help more. |

Possibly...TN or ON?? It's been awhile since i have read the specific descriptions & symptoms but both are related to facial/head nerves/symptoms
