Default Double Vision

I have double vision. It’s going on 5 weeks now. I went to my eye doctor, he said my eyes are fine….I went to my primary care doctor and he sent me for a brain MRI, everything is OK there. My wife knows a woman at work who’s husband gets this, but the guy won’t call me to discuss it. It seems to be a rare thing that I have. It feels like my allergies are clogging my sinus’s and pushing against my right eye. That’s the eye that’s off. Plus I can feel it in my right inner ear. Has anyone heard of such an illness and what it’s called? I heard it can last up to 8 weeks. I need some info please! Thanks……..
