Hello, I m new at this, but trying to find out answer's! (Hopefully) It's a long storie, with many ave's I have taken to try to resovle this matter, 3 MRI'S Lot's of bllod tests, But now Im getting worse after 6 yrs! Can any body suguest or help! I have found that going to doctor's isnt helping at all. Feel like Im going in circles. Im 49 yrs old, I just lost my father a month ago, I dont want to be next. Any one, maybe might know more than I do! Thank you!!!!

I know of a couple things that can cause your symptoms (white matter lesions in the brain, tremor, seizures, racing heart) that doctors often fail to look for, and they are B12 deficiency and celiac disease/gluten sensitivity.

B12 is safe and is very inexpensive, so that is something certainly worth doing. You can check out the vitamin forum for more information about that.

Treatment for gluten sensitivity/celiac disease is dietary. Again, something you can do for yourself. There are diagnostic tests available, and you can read more about them in The Gluten File linked below my name. If you check the right bar you will see pages for Diagnostics, The Neurological Manifestations of Gluten Sensitivity. MS, B12 Deficiency, etc. I generally recommend testing for celiac disease/gluten sensitivity because a positive diagnosis is worth getting, but because the tests are not perfect~ a dietary trial is worth doing even if the tests come back negative. It can't hurt, and might help.

Also in the mix of possibilities would be MS, lupus, Lyme disease, and I'm sure more. Your doctors have probably tested you for some of these things....but there are diagnostic pitfalls in most testing... so even with a negative result, it might be worth another look.

MS people know that a few white spots can be crippling if they are in the right spots of your brain. I don't know how brain damage can cause racing heart, never heard of that. The tremors don't sound good. Is there a way to measure them. Have you checked with the seizure guys here, they know about tremors.

Do take the B12 deficiency possibility seriously. It is usually due to malabsorption, and although it usually attacks the spinal cord before the brain, it can cause brain problems first. Serious problems can occur with spinal cord before lesions show. One of the latest in my many problems, which came on subtly and multipled slowly for a long time before snowballing, was heart racing.

B12 deficiency is very underdiagnosed and can cause an endless list of problems. Please see the website I am putting together. Entirely non-commercial and stemming from my learning the hard way.
