Are you saying that you have a metabolic condition that will not let your body accept any copper at all (or that perhaps you have an "overage" of electrochemically similar metals such as zinc that is crowding out the copper ions)?

My body will not allow the copper to remain, it will not accept it. It started in Oct.2005, they started me on copper gluconate and it brought it up slowly, but never reached normal, then it just stopped and copper and ceruloplasmin started falling again. Then the doctors tried copper infusions, I had a porter-cath put in my arm and took 12 infusions, no change. I have found a doctor Neeraj Kumar on the internet that some research clinicals told me about, so my doctor is now trying to get in touch with Him. Copper is so rare, their not sure what to do with me and we know of no one around here who has it.I have been tested for so much now, I cant keep up with it, but I wrote down what youve asked and I will in turn ask. Thank you, Tammy
