18 years ago I developed arm, elbow and hand problems that only got better after having to leave my job. Tingling, soreness and occasional waves of pain were my symptons. I refused an ulner nerve transposition, and have basically survived by not using my injured (non dominant arm). I have decided to re-enter the nerve damage treatment world, hoping that there might be some treatment to repair the damaged nerve (I believe the injury relates to either nerve entrapment or something to do with a tricept musle band which impairs the nerve. I am about to have an ENG (nerve conduction study) to compare with the one I had 18 years ago. can anyone add to my knowledge?

I had ulner nerve decompression a year. Ago and now I have lost the feelin in half of my hand and suffer severe pain in my wrist an fingers, beware

You might have a double crush syndrome- Cubital tunnel and TOS.
Do you have any pain or tightness in your neck, shoulder, armpit or upper back?

No pain in the neck as yet but an emg showed mild symptoms of a trap at c7 t1, I'm up for an mri tomorrow,been on lyr for two weeks and although it helped at first it's making me an insomniac,missed a dose the other day and felt so ill I ended up in a an e, couldn't find any thing wrong, got home and realized it was the lyrica,sitting her now feeling sick.short of breath,anxiety through the roof.

Shortness of breath is a serious side effect of Lyrica. This needs to be reported to your doctor ASAP.

Just spoke to the doctor,might as well have spoke to my postman,he said take 50 mg twice a day and stop and I should be ok, not so sure here, just hoping the damage to my hand is recoverable,9months ago I was a good body builder, now I hardly get out the house through the stress of this condition :

Ah , weightlifting can be a factor with TOS /or TOS like symptoms..
The last couple of years we had quite a few "gym rats" join our TOS forum..

Good luck with your MRI, I hope it shows some cause. I am getting results from my Neuro next week from a head MRI which shows spinal cord compression in my neck (from scan overrun) which causes neck pain, referred pains in both upper arms and numbness down to fingers on left hand. I don't even know the cause yet, old crushed vertebrae injury, discs, arthritis…?
All I do know, and can sympathise with, is that this sort of pain really hurts - often more than my other pain. It is hard to get on the right pain meds, and then to get the doses right, but persevere and work with your Drs. If one doesn't work, get it changed - you are the one in pain.
One question, if I may. Has the Anxiety you mentioned been caused by Lyrica, or is it an ongoing situation for you.
Hang in there, with MRI answers comes targeted treatment.

hi English Dave,sorry for my short posts but I'm a one finger types,my anxiety went sky high when I missed a dose, but it mainly comes from being a good " body builder-athlete " 7 days a wk on the iron, now I'm need an elbow replacement which is out of the question because the fail a lot and are meant for function only and I have two " big bear" Akita dogs who are like my children, can't walk them like I'd like, also on a morphine patch which slows me a little!
