Default ulnar nerve release and transposition

Hi

I hope someone can help

I had ulnar nerve decompression and a transposition on Wednesday last week, since my operation my elbow is fine but the ulnar region on my hand and wrist are still numb. Is this normal? My hand is significanctly worse since surgery and although i can move my ring and little finger it feels numb to touch, and is very weak.

Has anyone had this type of surgery? What did you experience? Also my fingers are still quite swollen

Thank you in advance
