Default Necrobiosis Lipoidica

Anyone dealing or even know anyone with this rare chronic skin disorder? I was diagnosed with it on my legs and went for injections every 3 weeks for 9 weeks as well as the use of high powered cortisone which has left a white circle around the area. At 12 weeks the dr. decided to stop treating, took photos, and told to watch and wait for any changes.
I understand the majority of people with it are diabetic...I am not, I am HYPOglycemic. It is non-contagious, medical community does not know what causes it or how to get rid of it.

Anybody else out there with this weird crud?
