Hi,
I had chiropractic manipulations done on my neck and cheekbones. On the 4th visit, I experienced blurry vision. Long story short, MRI and CT scan came back clear but I have since experienced episodes throughout the day where my eyes rapidly dart in circles and back and forth. It can last a few minutes up to 45 minutes. At the end my eyes feel painful like eyestrain. What does this mean? In 3 months I have a neurology appointment but need help now! Thank you! |

Did you have the eye darting before the chiropractic treatment, or did it start after?
Perhaps an Upper cervical adjustment might be of help. info- www.upcspine.com

I would think that a visit ASAP to an opthalmologist would be a good idea.

I have never and would never let a chiropractor work on my neck. Too many things can happen. In saying that you now need to find out why this is happening to you.

I wouldn't wait 3 months , I'd try to see someone sooner - eye doc, another chiro...
Look for DC's to call with long time in business & extra training/certification etc.. no rookies or beginners.. Possibly call that chiro and tell him what happened to see what he says.. ![]() Or call another one and ask them if it could be related to previous adjustments. Tell them that now you are very hesitant to try more adjusting to "repair " this new issue...if they try to push tx.. But if the adjustments did cause this maybe it will take an adjustment by a highly skilled DC to fix it... one you can trust.
