Hi
I see a number of people replied to your other thread on the General Mental and Emotional health forum
here is where you posted
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...d.php?p=930903

You were given the link there for our other forums at PsychCentral where you may find a more active Depression forum.

We share the chatrooms with them but most of our members prefer to use the forums instead of chat. I would really recommend that you consider registering at PsychCentral http://forums.psychcentral.com/

This is the link to the depression forum:

http://forums.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6

you can read there, but to post, you need to join there like you did here. You can use the same name if you like. We are not directly connected cyber wise. PsychCentral specializes in mental health issues and we are mostly general medical support.

I think chats move rather fast...for people impaired in some way or on medications it may move too fast for them. I know even when I was super sharp I couldn't really follow chats well. I guess it is a personal
skill type thing for some.

Default Thank you

Thank you all for your replies. I will look at that other site. Thank you. I like the idea of the chat, as in talking real time to real people. I am lucky enough not to be suffering any physical ailments at all, and after reading so many stories on here I am thankful. This depression however is sucking life from me, and it all seems endlessly bleak. I want to live again, smile, laugh, cry even. I have been numb and indifferent for nearly a year. Nearly a year spent in bed literally ! Is there hope ? When I can't find it in me to even approach my doctor, it seems all hopeless and pointless.

You can go to "Chat Rooms" at the top of this site. That is real time.
