Default Unilateral brain lesions

History of episode 16 years ago with left facial numbness, left vision blurriness and sensation of warm water running down leg. MRI/EMG normal.

8 MOnths ago, increased neck pain (MRI neck showed some spinal stenosis but only mid increase from MRI 7 years ago and determined by 3 neurosurgeons NOT to be causing problems.

4 months ago bilateral decrease in sensation hands but L>R. Left facial numbness and numbness 2 toes left foot which over about 4 weeks time then started muscle fatigability which was much worse in the heat. With very short amount of walking my legs feel like I have suddenly gained 100 pounds, arms get tired with repetitive movement, random muscle pains, pains in hands and right hip, increase in restless leg feelings. MRI showed "several" brain lesions. CSF negative. ALL labs negative.

Past Monday had repeat MRI (this time better machine) which showed "several lesions, most clustered in right frontal lobe but also seen in parieto-occibital and temporal lobe". Says "cannot rule out demylination but unilateral pattern unusual".

Any ideas??

Hi, I wish I had some advice or information to give you but unfortunately I am in a similar situation and not really sure what to do about it. My doctor just told me I have "some lesions" on my brain but he doesn't think it's MS and would not give me any more information on it.. Did your doctor ever get you checked for fibromyalgia or MS?
