Default peferial artery disease

anyone else have this painful disease,I was granted ssdi for it. Mine is so bad that the vascular surgeon at Loyola hospital in Chicago cannot put stents in because the blockage is behind my left knee. Did not want to do bypass because of my age back then 54. He said that the bypass will not get rid of all the pain and that it could fail and then he would have to take my leg off if that happened. PAD is a silent killer if left untreated,I'm taking plavix and a adult aspirin and walking to build up other arteries to bypass the blockage. Just think of PAD as of the arteries in your leg insted of the heart. And it is so simple to test for and painless get a ankle biracial index test, or what they call it abi.
