Default I'm sick of being sick

I have Spinocerebellar Ataxia and can't seen to stop coughing and choking. I have lost my voice and it's becoming very hard just to eat solid food or take a breath. I am so worn out and seems like getting any rest is out of question. I have enough things going on with disease and now this. I've gotten a lot of good advice but they all include going to more doctors and more tests. I have no insurance and I have gone to doctors for years now and I'm just plain tired. I'm ready for a new aproach. If anyone knows of good holistic doctor or nutritionist please respond. I welcome your thoughts. Thanks for listening.

Hello Yimmer...glad to see you! I'm new here too, and frequent another room, so to speak, but your post caught my eye and my heart. I look at your words and think, "Yep..." and I know countless people here have the same or similar feelings.

What I really like, Yimmer, is your thought to a new
approach. I believe there is room in Neuotalk that deals with other forms of health care, i.e. supplements/herbs. I haven't been in, but maybe you might be interested in taking a peek, if you haven't already.

Welcome...

Default Hello Yimmer

Welcome to Neuro Talk. You found a site where people will listen. I do not know your condition, but I hear the pain and frustration in your post. Please keep trying to find new therapies to help you. You may be interested in a special type of doctor called a physiatrist. They treat pain first and then try to help you from a cellular level. the whole body approach. My own conditions were helped because I found this kind of holistic approach. I am on a fair number of suppliments and B12 shots. I wish you all the best. Again welcome, and feel at home on this site. ginnie
