Default Chronic Migraines

Has anyone out there had botox for migraines? I have chronic, daily migraines caused by severe hydro and vp shunt. I had botox for migraines as a last option and I had terrible headaches (even worse than before) for 3 weeks. It gave me some relief, and now it's time for the injections again, but I'm so afraid of the initial worsening of headaches. Has anyone had this?
