Hi all,
I was just wondering if any of you know what causes white matter hyperintensity lesions on the brain besides MS? My doctor told me that I have two on my brain as of last year and now I'm waiting for a second MRI to see if things have changed. He didn't say where the lesions were located but he told me I have two, said the damage can't be reversed and asked if I had a family history of cancer. :/ I know you guys aren't supposed to diagnose on here but I'm just wondering if anyone's in or has been in a similar situation and if you have any good information on it. I tried doing some research but it's not very clear what they are or what causes them, and I'm in my early 20's so I don't think I have Alzheimer's or Dementia. Any advice would be great. ![]() |
