Question Acute back pain, can barely move, HELP!

Hi-

On Saturday I start having acute low back pain. Yesterday, Sunday, the pain is also on my side, near my iliac crest and up to my T spine. I think it is muscular. I washed my dog on Wenesday and had to lift her, she is 66 lbs, I am 90 lbs, plus there was a lotof twisting. The pain is so severe, it hurts to cough, get up from a chair and even bend at the waist 5 degrees. I have tried a bunch of muscle relaxers and heat. The only thing that has worked it percocet. Sitiing still, the pain is 10/10...if I move, it is 20 out of 10.

I know I should to to the Drs. but I do not want to. I have a psychiatrist appt t omorrow morning & I cannot miss it.

Any advise?
Thanks in advance

Stacy

A muscle spasm that won't quit? I had that once a few years ago and it was awful. I've had a few since but not like that one that would not quit. Hope you get it taken care of.

My brother lifted a 5 gal gas can twisted wrong and then pulled a muscle , he was hurting very bad for a week & 1/2.

He never had any other back problems so he was pretty sure it was only muscle related..

Might be good to get it checked out just to be sure..

I am so sorry to hear about your condition. I have no experience with back pain but I will say some prayers for you.

I broke a rib once and couldn't cough without sever pain so I know what you must feel like. Laughing, burping, coughing all hurt.

Please go to the docs or if it gets bad 911.

prayers for you.

This may not be muscular and maybe you should have an x-ray. If it continues I would not delay going to a Dr.... I've also had back problem in my sciatic nerves both sides. Horrible pain!!! I totally understand. Take care!!!
