Unhappy Losing the use of my legs

Since last December, I have noticed that my legs feel heavier and heavier, as time goes by. I also noticed that I was losing my ability to walk - it went from endless miles to 3 blocks to one block, to across the street, also since last December.

The pain from the neuropathy is well-controlled now. Is this symptom a part of the disease process?

I keep reading that people in the MS forum have the same trouble (and actually, I do have other MS symptoms, but I am also going down de Nile on it).

I have not had time to discuss this thoroughly with my gp. He did say at first that low iron may cause this, but he tested me and I came back WNL.

Is anyone here familiar with this particular problem?

Please reply. And thanks in advance.
