Hey all - for the last week or so, I've had the place where my right kidney is hurt a lot. Seems like any kind of pressure that is put on it, it makes the pain worse. It feels like someone is holding or squeezing something, kidney?, there. My back is also hurting as well, esp around in that area, and it hurts to get up and down, even from sitting, and esp from laying down. I usually lay on my stomach, but I have to lay on my left side so the place can ease off. I go to bed with it hurting really bad, and wake up with the pain semi-gone. But as soon as I start moving around, it begins to hurt even more. My urine and stool all look normal as well, and I only say that because I'm hoping this isn't a kidney stone.

Hi Skywalker,
Back pain in the area of your kidney could be many different things. It could be muscles in your back, could be a stone, could be spinal problem, could be all kinds of things. I would definitely go see my doc, if I were you. You really need to get checked out. Just my opinion. |
