Confused Woke up blind in one eye

Yesterday I woke up with no vision in my right eye. I thought it was gunked up or sometching so I used eye wash but it didn't help. Plus, pain in the eye, numbness around the eye down to the cheekbone. I used extra strength Tylenol to alleviate the pain, 2 then 1 then another, and that helped.

I tried to connect to my retina doc but they called back while I was napping.

The eye was so blurry I could not even see the Amsler chart! By evening I could make out big things, but very blurry. Today it is just a bit blurry but I can read with my glasses and the eye pain, though there, has lessened a lot.

Now I'm thinking I'll just call my ophthalmologist tomorrow. I've had 2 cataract surgeries and two retinal tear surgeries. This is a mystery though. Do you have any thoughts as to what happened?
