Default Shaking Head Pains

Hi, I would like to ask anyone if they know what is going on. I woke up one morning, and immediately noticed that my head hurt. It was only hurting when I shook my head, like I am looking left, and someone on my right says my name, I will jerk my head to the right, it would hurt. I am a 15 year old male (if that matters). I just assumed it would go away in a day or two, but throughout the day I would get short sharp pains on the upper right section of my brain. The pains would only last a few 15 seconds or so, but they would hurt pretty bad. I'd get them randomly about every few hours. When I woke up the next day, it was the same. It's been about a week and a half, I still get the sharp pains, but the shaking head pains have decreased in pain levels. I haven't asked my mom to schedule a doctors appointment, but I have told her about my situation. I don't want to freak out and make a big deal about it, but I would like to make sure it's not something serious like brain cancer. Is it something that will just go away? Or will it get worse? Thanks for the help, and please respond soon.
