I am looking for any information that may be out there for people that have suffered TBI- frontal lobe( perm long term memory loss, affected speech, still suffer from headaches) and I have REM sleep disorder along with the TBI interrupted sleep cycles. I have seen different sleep specialists with little luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I have been told that my case is just to complicated to treat- I am desperate.
thank you, mem loss |

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups. As EsthersDoll suggested, you could try posting over on the TBI/PCS Forum. Link below Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome Forum There is also a Sleep Disorders Forum |

My brain injury was quite serious and my neurologist told me that he thinks it's to damaged for me to achieve REM sleep. Apparently, this happens to a considerable number of stroke patients, too. |
