Default biofreeze ?

I was going to a chiopractor who used biofreeze and i think that was the only good thing that he did or used. i have gone to several stores to purchase some and i can not find it. I have seen a couple of post here and on other boards from people who use this and I was wondering if some one could tell me where they buy it. I have seen it on ebay and on the net, but i would rather buy it in a store to avoid shipping and handling charges. thanks to anyone who can help me.

Lightbulb this is where I get mine...

I agree Biofreeze is just great! It has Ilex in it too..which is yerba mate
the tea, as well. I think the Ilex is a huge therapeutic addition to it.

Anyway, I was turned onto this by my physical therapist last fall.
I have seen it locally just recently at my health club for a whopping $15 a tube.
My club has a PT office upstairs, and I suspect they get thru there.

So I searched the net, and found this place... it is very nice, reasonable
prices, and fast service:
http://doctorschoicehealthproducts.c...e_products.htm

I buy several tubes ahead to save shipping.
Most people who use Biofreeze use it forever, I suspect!

Hi,

BioFreeze is available where I live at the medical supply stores and a couple of independent pharmacies. Private practice PT's also may carry products like these, that's where I got my Sombra, a cream similar to Biofreeze. I have both, think Sombra is a bit more effective as it has menthol, camphor, capsaicin, aloe vera, grapefruit seed and green tea extracts and witch hazel among the ingredients. Goes on cool, then heats up! But it does smell like menthol so I use BioFreeze if I'm going somewhere, and it is effective too.

You might look in the Yellow Pages and call some of these places to see if they carry BioFreeze or know who does. Massage Therapists or Sports Rehab PT's are also possible sources. Or someone who specializes in treating RSI's, whether therrapist, massage therapist, chiropractor, DO or holistic health care practitioner, possibly even a running or fitness pro shop?

But I'd start with med supply stores that sell wheelchairs, adjustable beds, commodes and such, that's also where I found my Heelbo padded "sleeves" that are wonderful for cubital tunnel (nerve pain at the elbow) problems.

Hope this helps!

Ask your chiro to order it for you (they get better discounts, too). Mine did it for me, make sure you get the roll-on - it's awesome!

I use Biofreeze too. It is great. I get it thru my chiropractor. I use the tube. They do not sell it direct from the company over the net as they used to do. I believe you can get it from like a sports place or something similar. I believe they say on their website that they do not sell it in pharmacies and the like. Perhaps states may vary. It is a good product IMO. I have been tempted to try Icy Hot, Aspercreme, and Ben Gay (odorless, although it still smells) again. They are easy to get. I want to see if they will do the job as well as Biofreeze. My chiropractor seems to run out of Biofreeze all the time so I always buy two tubes.

Lightbulb price...

Well, I think buying locally will cost you more.

I paid $10 a tube from my PT.

At $6.99 a tube online from the source I
quoted you and their low shipping, I find this a reasonable deal.... If you find it locally for less than that
you are lucky. My health club charges $15.00 a tube.

Also I find you don't need much per application. I use just under an inch
ribbon for each knee/leg. (usually 3/4 of an inch). So a tube lasts a long
time for me (I only use it at bedtime unless I am in a pain flare, then I use it
before work, AND at bedtime).

If anyone has problems finding this in their area, let me know. My PT said she'd help out if needed with ordering.

I have found great deals on ebay. Even with shipping cost it is generally very affordable.
I like the roll on not to get it on the hands with reaction on the face or eyes if touched. I also found the spray on very effective. It is strong for a spray. The gel is the strongest and longer lasting....not by much more though, for the convienance.

For super medicating, I have the PT massage with Natures Chemist, highest menthol, so really stinks for long time but the highest effective penatrating of muscle spasms, It is all natural, lavendar, etc. Also, no alcohol so it does not evaporate fast, stayong effective for HOURS.
