Default Regular B12 doses do nothing for severe malabsorption

Vegemite or even fortified foods, multivitamins or even B complex cannot help a person with severe B12 malabsorption, unless several hundred mcg (that is not the same as several hundred or even thousands of percentage).

Leah,
Have you seen a Neuro Ophthalmologist? They are a combo of the two specialists and maybe they have the answers you are looking for.
Just food for thought.
Good luck to you,
Judy
