Default Role Crisco/Procter&Gamble played in our "fats" industry

Heard Dr. Joel Wallach again last night talking about the NEED for good fats and that cholesterol is NOT the bad guy. Here is one link of Dr. Mercola on this history:

May 31, 2012 - And while Crisco was purposely formulated to resemble lard and cook like .... industry of harmful low-fat products, the cholesterol myth has given rise to a ...... Dr. Joel Wallach of Dead Doctor's Don't Lie (Still found on Amazon ...

A lot of info reports those with alzheimers had low cholesterol diets. My parents both lived into their 90's and NEVER cut out their good fats. And Never cholesterol testing in their days.

Weston Price Foundation has loads of research on this Cholesterol Myth... We had a WAP chapter in our town for some yrs and I attended their monthly meetings...the group leader would bring tubs of organic coconut oil and sell it to members who brought their own jars. This was a while before the CO revolution took off in the U.S. She was a small woman and mentioned one time to me her cholesterol was 300 total. It was never a concern for her...she was very engrossed in the WAP teachings on health and healing.
